Redeemer has been a sponsor of the Chorlton Arts Festival since it got its recent reboot. We have loved helping out in social media, connecting with venues and artists in Chorlton, and attending events. This year, we were able to host an event, help out at one, and perform at another!

Three of us from Redeemer helped out an event at the Pocket Park in central Chorlton, making badges and painting faces. We were really busy and basically didn’t stop for 6 hours!

We were able to host two groups on a Saturday night at the Royal Oak: Dislocation Dance and Hardway Ent. Loads of people came out and it was loads of work, but it was a great way to serve Chorlton.

The last event of the Chorlton Arts Festival was a picnic and day out at Beech Rd Park, along with other groups like Unity Arts doing badge making, painting, and all sorts of other activities.

Being able to serve our community through the Chorlton Arts Festival is such a joy. It’s not without work, but all good things require work. And we believe that the kind of church that Jesus calls us to be is one that works for others’ good. We are thankful to serve Chorlton this way!
